At the moment an owner can set a minimum rental period, but this is the same for all days.
I am more than happy for someone to book the car for short trips (though I think the Hiyacar model works out a bit pricey for a 1-2 hour period) if that’s all they need. However, a 1 hour booking on a weekend would mean the car is unavailable for someone else to book for a weekend away.
Would it not be more sensible and flexible to have different minimum periods for different days, or at least have a weekday / weekend option?
Has anyone else experienced this or found a way to work around it?
It occurred to me only because I noticed several other cars in my area all have much longer minimum periods that I have set and I know I missed out on one longer booking because of a previous short one
