The 2020 reports are now out, here are a few quick highlights:
For members who drive less than 6,000 – 8,000 miles per year, a car club could save up to £3,500 a year.
When combining the percentages of respondents who had either reduced the number of cars they owned or deferred a purchase we can estimate nationally that 18.5 cars are removed per car club vehicle (and 23.5 in London).
10% of the car club fleet are electric vehicles, by comparison, less than 1% of cars in the UK are electric vehicles
The average car club car has emissions which are 26.5% lower than the average car on the UK’s roads
Less than 1% of the total fleet is aged five years or older
